Our PeopleForward office is located in the center of Athens, Panepistimiou 39, opposite the Panepistimiou Metro stop. You can book an appointment for an in-person session or online psychotherapy by calling +30 211 418217 or by filling out the contact form on our website.

What is the cost of a psychotherapy session in Athens and how long does it last?

Accepted Answer

The duration of each individual psychotherapy session is 50 minutes. The cost of the session depends on the type of therapy (individual, couple therapy, online) and ranges from 70-80 euros (60 for students). You will be informed in detail about the cost of the MMPI-2 assessment during our first contact.

At PeopleForward we apply scientifically proven methods such as [e.g. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, ACT & DBT]. We specialize in anxiety management, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, relationship and communication problems and low self-esteem. With our many years of experience, we also offer the Behaviour Performance Coaching CBT service for Executives with MMPI-2 (optional).

Do you offer online psychotherapy sessions for residents outside of Athens or abroad?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we conduct online psychotherapy sessions through secure video conferencing platforms. This allows clients from all over Greece and abroad to receive systematic therapy with the same effectiveness as in-person sessions.

Question 5

What happens in the first session with the psychologist and how is confidentiality protected?

Accepted Answer

The first session is exploratory: we discuss the reasons that led you to seek help and set the first therapeutic goals. The use of psychometrics, if deemed necessary, is done in the 2nd-3rd session. All sessions are governed by strict professional psychological confidentiality and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
